Laura gow

Laura Gow (b. 1993) is a Canadian composer from Winnipeg. She began learning guitar at a young age and decided she wanted to pursue a career in music shortly thereafter. Her influences range from metal to pop to Middle Eastern. Laura completed her B.Mus in Composition at the University of Manitoba’s Desautels Faculty of Music in 2017, culminating in a recital featuring her first opera “Morgues & Meows”. "Morgues & Meows" was also featured earlier that year at the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s New Music Festival. Laura is currently focussed on creating more accessible opera.
